Yard lace is made around the roller pillow and the required length is simply cut off. After cutting off, at least one piece of finished lace has to remain on the pillow so that you don't have to start the lace again – usually we use lots of pairs and if the pattern is complicated, the correct start takes a lot of time.
Yard lace in this category can be made as point ground lace (Point de Lille), flanders lace, torchon lace, cluny lace and many others. They can be of different widths and densities, monochrome or multi-colored. The imagination knows no limits.
